I am sure many of you have noticed I have used personal experience in my posts. It may appear contradictory when I tell you not to use personal experience, however, my use is not contradictory. I am using personal experience as an illustrative example but it is not my basis of knowledge. Keep this in mind when reading these posts.

I learned a principal in class and research on a topic. Then I give you an example, hoping you can relate to it. The cardinal sin is to base your knowledge solely upon your personal experience. I’m not doing that you can always use personal experience as an example, but just don’t use it as your basis of knowledge.
